A milestone anniversary saw the larger CanBridge community - students and their families, faculty, volunteers, donors, wellwishers - gather together to celebrate. It was an evening to cherish, full of warm memories, stories, song, art and food.
Janaki Sabesh, author and storyteller narrated the journey of CanBridge in her own inimitable way. We acknowledged all those who have stood by us these five years, supporting us in good times and bad. Vaishnavi Selvaraj, our first team member was given a Service Recognition award for completing 5 years. Buddies Kitchen, a catering initiative of some of our trainees and their mothers ensured that every guest had yummy treats. An evening to remember indeed.
